Just a half an hour drive from the city takes you in the mountains and thick forests of Gorski Kotar or on secluded island beaches of Krk and Cres.

The peninsula of Istria with medieval castles and gastronomical delicaties is also just around the corner - and let's not forget the nature (mountain Učka) and national parks (Risnjak, Plitvice Lakes, Brijuni) that we're surrounded with.
